Cutting success rate: - Honetsuckles: 25% (3 out of 12) - English Lavenders: 50% (3 out of 6) The honeysuckles had been tried in various parts, so it is a 75% success rate when considering only the branches. For an amature gardener to get used to cutting, it is important to start with strong plants. Then you can experience success relatively. Even if you know about growing plants from cuttings, it is not easy and when you fail to grow them you can’t stop you are feeling sorry for them.

I confirmed that four cuttings of honey suckle out of twelve have succeeded in rooting. I am so happy. I tried to use branches, stems and cuttings from just below the bottom leaves for cutting, the branch type have all succeeded. I still need to keep an eye on them for just a bit more time for settling down but that’s a relief.
