Good morning. ☺️✨ The Nigella damascena 💙 is blooming beautifully. In our garden, blue 💙 and white 🤍 varieties are blooming here and there from self-seeded plants. Initially, a neighbor gave us seedlings, and for the past few years, they've multiplied from self-seeded plants. It makes me so happy when they bloom every year. 🐰💗
Good mornevening, Yuming ! 🌅🌃 The genus Nigella belongs to the buttercup family, Ranunculaceae. 🤔 It is commonly known by its scientific name, Nigella. The scientific name originates from the Latin word niger, meaning black.●🙆♀️🤭 However, your flower is not black, but a beautiful blue.🖤🙅♀️💙🙆♀️👌 Since it's a member of the buttercup family, those blue parts are actually sepals, not petals.😄🤗✌️ Other plants in the buttercup family include Christmas roses and anemones.🏵️🌺🌸 They are all beautiful flowers, aren't they ? 🤔 They shine just like my sister Yuming. 👧👖🥰😍😘✨
