Good morning.☺️✨ China aster💜🤍The petals are a beautiful lavender color. 😘💞I welcomed an aster into my home last year, and the leaves have been sprouting, but it's been so hot every day that it doesn't seem to be doing very well.😅💦Thank you for showing me this lovely Callistephus sinensis 💜🤍. 🐰💗
@まちすけ Thank you for a message,Machisuke-san. I saw this lady when I was walking ~. She was blooming quietly under the tree. Let’s have a good day together! with smile 😊
@ユミ Thank you for a message. I feel so, too. I saw this lady blooming like this for the first time. Lucky We will have a nice day today and tomorrow! with smile 😊

@ラスカル Hi! How are you? I can tell you are OK 👌 situation! 😊 It’s still hot at your place. Take care of yourself and your family. Have a great day! with smile 😊
@デュランサ Good morning! I hope you have a great day. Every day is coming. It’s still hot at your place? Keep being healthy and go for today and tomorrow. nice day with smile 😊
Yes, I get up at 5am every day, but recently it's been getting a little darker and cooler in the early mornings. However, it's still hot during the day. Lately I've been looking for a cool place to stay in the 🚙, and the other day I went to Yoro Falls in Gifu Prefecture. It gets crowded on weekends and holidays, but since it was a weekday, it was a hidden gem, and I found it cool and soothing. 🐰💗
@ユミ Thank you for a message. How nice! You walk with your friend. Have a good friendship! Wind makes you feel better, right?! It’s the end of August, Autumn 🍂 is coming soon. Have a great day! with smile 😊
@ラスカル Good morning! Thank you for a message. Yes, I feel so~ too. The crickets 🦗 have started to make sound. !! Autumn has come. Take care of yourself! We are always together on GS. Good day ! 😊
@デュランサ Nice one! You drive and go anywhere you like. Nature is waiting for you all the time. Keep being healthy. …sorry I am now watching and listening to “Kawano nagare no youni” by Misora Hibari-san … 🎶 So you can drive around your place. Gifu…”Nagaragawa” backing to 1980’s I visited there every year and enjoyed “ayu” which is my favorite. Itsuki Hiroshi san got Record Grand Prize 🏆 (1984) “Nagaragawa enka” You have Ayu frequently? 😋it’s the season. We will have a nice day together on GS. Have a nice day! with our smiles 😊😊
I see you also visited the Nagara River in Gifu Prefecture. It seems that the season for delicious sweetfish is just beginning. On the way back from visiting Monet's Pond in Gifu Prefecture, we had a feast of sweetfish. Grilled sweetfish, simmered sweetfish, tempura, etc. It was the peak season, so it was delicious. I'll definitely be heading out in my car in search of delicious food again in the future. 🐰💗
@ユミ Thank you for a message. How nice! You have a nice friend. You will have a good time with her. Keep friendship is important! Let’s have a good day together! with smile 😊
@ゆうさん Thank you for a message. I know…everywhere ~ has someone trouble. No rain, too much rain, too hot ~. Still we live in. Keep being healthy! We are together on GS. Have a great day! with smile 😊
Yes, it's a river fish. Ayu is caught in clear streams, and in Gifu Prefecture, there is a place called "Ukai" where ayu are caught by cormorant fishermen, who use birds called "U." I think the ayu we ate there was caught from a fishing rod. 🐰💗
@デュランサ Right! When I was staying there, I had a good friendship with ‘ushou-san’ they were aged men. Everybody was skinny and short. (yasete ite sei no hikui hito)…like horseback riders. I had a great time in those days.(1980s). Now it’s hot here, …now 34°C~ in the later afternoon…37°C. Keep being healthy! Autumn is coming soon, we hope Have a nice day and night. 😊
Yumiko, it's wonderful that someone has come to know about the cormorant fishermen and become friends with them. It's not often that you get to that point. I've only ever seen it on TV, the sight of cormorant fishermen using cormorants to catch sweetfish. 🐰💗
@デュランサ Thank you for a message. My ‘Nagaragawa Story’…I learned how to take off the bones from ‘ayu’. 1.2.3, and I take out bones Ayu on the plate. I had a lot of experiences and I got this. It’s still hot. You live in Aich-prefecture. Let’s go for a good day together! 😊
@デュランサ …oh! with the left 3 fingers, hold the ayu-head, 1-Snapp the ayu-head, 2-tapped ayu-body and 3-pull the bone out using the right hand. What I called 1-2-3 to eat ‘ayu’. I miss ayu so much for 34 years. You can enjoy AYU anytime. I envy you! Nice day. 😊
It was a wonderful experience for you to learn about sweetfish and become friendly with the cormorant fishermen. It seems that the season for sweetfish fishing, which runs from May to October, is almost here. I wonder if we'll be able to eat them🐰💗
@デュランサ It’s funny story. One day(1980s), I wanted to show off my 1.2.3 Ayu! We were at the popular ‘Robata-yaki’ at Roppongi. I tried ~ 😆I did not make at all. …I was a little bit embarrassed, but my friends said “Nagara liver- Ayu” made you that. Time passed so fast. It was a story 45 years ago. Good day together! 😊
So you were able to eat sweetfish at a robatayaki restaurant. I'm sure it was delicious and reasonably priced. It's nice to have it every once in a while. It reminded me of the time I ate it while I was out. 🐰💗
@デュランサ Thank you for message. I meant, I could make 1.2.3(ayu-no hone-nuki)at The Nagara-liver, but I couldn’t make it at the Robsta-yaki. That means ~ fresh ones! ☝️ If it’s fresh, I can do it! We can test it. 😀 Good day together!
@デュランサ Yes, in those days. Today, what I am talking is…‘Urashima no Taro/Yumiko’. I will go back to my favorite places in Japan. it’s coming in the new future to me. Today is today~ nice day together. with smile 😊
It seems like eating sweetfish has become a fond memory for you. ☺️✨ There are still many other local specialties and delicious foods to enjoy in Japan. I'm sure you'll enjoy them again in the future. 🐰💗
@デュランサ Thank you for a message. I think do, too. Right now, I have no plan to go back to Japan. If I go back, I will stay in Japan 🇯🇵 for approximately One month. I will have to do lots of things. … “Ayu”…still I miss it! When I back to Japan, I first visit my favorite “yakitori” place. It’s in Roppongi/Tokyo. I have known the place for 50 years. And “tonkatsu” place. It’s in Okachimachi/Tokyo. I do know this place for 55 years. I am happy they still open every day. Time passes so fast! amazing I becoming elder ~. You like go out~ enjoying with your friends. Have a good day ! 😊
Yumiko, you have a lot of favorite restaurants in Tokyo. They all look delicious. I hope you'll stop by there when you return to Japan. That's something to look forward to. 🐰💗
@デュランサ Thank you for a message. Yes. I will. One place I will have to go, “Roppongi Hills Club”. I have been a member for a long time. And no opportunity to go and enjoy yet. We can see entire Tokyo from the 51st floor. (Including Mt. Fuji) I will swim in the building and go upstairs to the club. * I wish I could invite you! 🤗
Anyway our life…we will enjoy! My best friend(51 years) goes for a trip by herself(in Japan) and enjoy. All the time she sends photos to me. (urayamashii~)😊 Let’s go for a good day together! with smile 😊
"Roppongi Hills Club" looks very luxurious, and the high-rise buildings are amazing. Apparently you can see Mt. Fuji. The view from the 51st floor must be amazing. Yumiko's friend travels alone. It takes a lot of courage to travel alone, but she lives a wonderful life. 🐰💗
@デュランサ Thank you for a message. I wish I could be in Tokyo and see my lots of friends. ~ still I will wait for the time to go back to Tokyo. Everyone has his own way ~ in the life. Well~ when I decided to go back to Tokyo for a while (a month), I will give a notice to Green Snap. (Off for posting). It’s coming ~ How is your day? It’s hot. Right now…34°C(outside). Fortunately, I do not feel any hotness. Nice day together! with smile 😊
That's right. ☺️You'll be returning to Japan soon. To your healthy mother. Yes♡ I understand. The temperature here is likely to reach nearly 40°C during the day. It's cool in the early mornings. "I found a little autumn, a little autumn"♬♪
@デュランサ Isn’t it? It’s becoming cooler a little here at my place. However, in September we will have still hot days(98f~). Take care of yourself! Good day everyday! with smile 😊
@デュランサ How nice ! You have taking care of vegetables in your garden! Awesome Yes. Autumn has come at my place. I can tell ~ when I walk. 🍂 We will enjoy Autumn! 😊
Has autumn arrived at your place, Yumiko? I can feel it in the trees, fruit, etc. I have a vegetable garden🏠️ close to my house, so I grow vegetables and flowers there. I also have potted roses🌹 and other things in my garden. 🐰💗
@デュランサ Good ! We have our own hobby. Your hobby…gardening?! My hobby is / swimming 🏊♀️. And walking & gardening. We have a good life. Healthy! Have a nice day. with smile 😊
That's right. I guess it could become a hobby. It's true that until a few years ago, I never grew vegetables or flowers. At first, I was juggling work and housework, so I didn't have much free time and I was constantly going back and forth to work. I had weekends and holidays off. Of those days, I would take one day to do the housework I normally can't do, buy a week's worth of groceries and sundries, etc. Every day was hectic, so I didn't even pay it any attention. But recently, I've finally been able to make time. 🐰💗
@デュランサ Good! I’ve got you. You still work~? I thought you were retired? It doesn’t matter weather you work or not. Main thing is keeping be healthy. You are 👍. with smile 😊
I quit my job at a good time. I thought it was okay to quit now. My children have all become independent. My husband and I go sightseeing to our favorite places and spend time together in our vegetable garden. I take my mother to the doctor every month, and I can do her shopping there too. I think I'm finally starting to have some free time. 🐰💗
@デュランサ Lovely! Life is such a kind ~! Main thing is …you happy, not working but staying at home and do something what you like! How gorgeous! I retired when I was 48 years old. When I was in Tokyo, I was a teacher to teach English to junior/high school students. And after I moved to 🇺🇸, I taught Japanese to the people in USA. I had a happy retirement. I hope you, too! Good day. 😊
I see. It's wonderful that you can speak both English and Japanese fluently. You also taught English to junior and senior high school students in Japan and became a teacher, and taught Japanese in America. It's amazing that you can teach both. It was a very elegant retirement. Thank you for all your hard work. 💐 🐰💗
@デュランサ Thank you for your message. lovely 🥰 Yes. I had worked hard when I was young. No more ~ … today… relax ~ Listen to the music 🎶 and swim and walk to see the cute flowers. happy Life ! Let’s have a nice day together! We are together on GS. Good time to talk to you. with smile 😊
Hello ☺️✨ I went to the eye doctor today. I go regularly, but I ran out of eye drops and I couldn't get a prescription unless I went for a checkup. My eye exam suggested my eyesight might have gotten worse 🙆🏻 I'm used to wearing bifocal glasses 👓️, but I still have trouble seeing 😆💦
@デュランサ You are talking about ‘bifocal glasses’. It is correcting both near & distance vision. I know~ I had bought and tried it on…it’s uncomfortable. And I had not worn it. look ⬆️, look down ⬇️. Think about before buying the glasses. Distance glasses. 👍 Reading glasses, we can have it anywhere. Good day together 😊
@デュランサ Ok. You need a good glasses for driving…it depends on the Dr. Prescription. You go for your Ophthalmology, right?! You will be ok. We have some ~ all the time. The most important thing is, how to get rid of the our situation. 👍 Still good day! 😊
It's wonderful to be able to see with your eyes 👀. If I could no longer see, going out would be no fun, and even if I ate delicious food, even if I could taste it, it would be boring if I couldn't see the presentation or color. We need to take good care of our eyes 👀. 🐰💗
Yes. Yesterday in Shiga Prefecture, it rained ☔ while I was driving, but by the time I arrived at my sightseeing spot and my son and his wife's 🏠️, it wasn't raining ☔, so it was a comfortable day. 🐰💗
I was happy to see my son and his wife after a long time. I was also glad to see my two granddaughters. I was able to hold my newborn baby 🧑🏻🍼👶🏻 last month, and I was so happy to see her. She was so cute, saying things like, "She was so small," and "Thank you for being born ☺️." 🐰💗
@デュランサ Nice story about your family! 👍 I like to hear that. happiness I am happy to think of my granddaughter in Tokyo. We have Face-Time system. I can talk to my family and see them on the device. We take care of our families. 😊
@デュランサ Yes, I know~ and remember ~ I have hundreds of pictures of my son. (Since he was bone born). My son is 41 years old. He has 5’8feet. I put him for the ‘Swimming, Soccer ⚽️, Gymnastics, piano, (oekaki), in those days(1980s). If you like to hear my son’s story ~. I will tell you ~. Let’s have a good day today and tomorrow! with smile
It seems like your son has been involved in a variety of extracurricular activities and sports. I get the impression that his athletic pursuits are connected to his work and keep him active. 🐰💗
I'm sure your son was able to continue taking up an interest in a class that he was interested in. I think he has acquired the strength to persevere and to face the reality he faces today. Yumiko is an amazing mother because she helped him get on that path. I'm sure your son understands that too. He must be grateful. 🐰💗
