Long time to hear about ‘rice’! 😊 Ok I will tell one ☝️ story of ‘Homeless Project/by myself)’ in ~2014~
* One morning around 11:00am. I walked out from my condominium and walk~ from The Alawai Liver~ Alamoana Park~ Tennis court. On that day I had given the(Bentou)to the 15~ homeless people beside The Alawai River. I crossed the street and got the place which I have never been. It was the messy place.
I saw one guy was lying down under the tree. He was holding his hands crossed to his shoulder.(samui no ka) I came up to him and asked “Are you hungry?”/as usual to anyone. He looked up me and said “Yes I am so hungry”. I asked him “you look like Japanese”. He said “Yes I am Japanese. I was born in Nakano-ward in Tokyo”… “I miss Japan. I want to go back to Japan.” He started taking in Japanese. (Nihon ga koisii yo Nihon ni kaetitaiyo) I gave him chicken soup rice. I put soup rice with spoon into his mouth 🥄 each times … He was so fine to eat(only open his mouth). I was with him for 30 minutes ~. I left chocolate, sandwiches. When I left him, I told him, “I will come back to see you at this time tomorrow” He said “Thank you. I am happy to see you. You are my angel.(hotokesama no you desu) He showed me a big smile.
Next day I prepared his soup rice and fruits for him…24hours later… I couldn’t see him. I found one boy at that place and asked “you know, the guy under the tree?” The boy said “He died last night and he has gone here.”
Still I remember…I had tears 😭 (nakinagara) And Still I went to Alamoana Park to give my food to Homeless 60 people ~.(show my smile)
